This is an interesting case. At first glance it seems to be a simple case of male pattern thinning. Consultation and microscopic diagnosis found family history of male pattern thinning but, had occurred at a much more senior age than 28-year-old Mr. O.
When could make out the typical pattern of thinning related to male pattern thinning. The first place we investigate is family history. In this case is was clearly early onset male pattern thinning as it was happening at a much earlier age and was happening rapidly with major changes physically noticed in the past 3 years. Male pattern thinning is not typically a rapid hair thinning.
